Indigenous Native Foods Business Spotlight - Mabu Mabu
Today, Tagai Management Consultants Managing Director, Murray Saylor had the great pleasure to be gifted and enjoy condiments infused with Indigenous ingredients from Victoria Indigenous business, Mabu Mabu.
Our Managing Director Murray Saylor went and checked the company Post Office box and there was a package token which means a delivery is waiting to be picked up. During COVID-19 like many brothers and sisters the online shopping environment was explored and……..items purchased. Murray could not recall a recent purchase so with cautious enthusiasm he rocked up to the pick up reception and was greeted with a smile and eventually the package.
Firstly, Murray noted that the package was from Indigenous owned business, Mabu Mabu (https://www.mabumabu.com.au/) which is located in Yarraville, Victoria, Australia. Surprised by the package Murray opened the package and inside were the items in the image, a bottle of Organic Sriracha (hot sauce) and a small container of Rice Spice.
Murray read the accompanying card and opened both items and inhaled the aroma and character of both condiments. Murray could not wait for taste the condiments and taste tested them for lunch on a steak and fried dish. Both condiments added a bite and flavours to the dish that made Murray think what else he could use the Rice spice and Organic Sriracha.
