This years awards will be held at the Tagai TAFE venue on Thursday 14th October 2021.
The event recognises people in the Employment & Training sector and celebrates the achievements of people in the Torres Strait and NPA. It is the only awards of its’ kind.
This inclusive community event showcases the diversity of the region through cultural performances, food and nominees’ achievements across a range of industries.
There will be an attractive line up of a Keynote Speaker and Guest Speakers at this year’s awards.
In the 2019 Awards ceremony, around 100 attended to enjoy the free family event. Gold sponsors handed out 10 awards recognising employers, trainers, trainees, apprentices, young achiever award and high achievers in their area.
The Tagai TAFE venue is supported by TAFE Queensland. All food preparation is conducted under the guidance of a qualified Chef with the assistance of the students from Tagai State College.
