The Launch of the Queensland Indigenous Business Network

On the 12th of October 2023, the Queensland Indigenous Business Network (QIBN) was launched at an opening event in Queensland Parliament House.

The establishment of this independent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation was to assist small Indigenous businesses to grow and thrive. The launch of QIBN means a new wave of business development, networking, and advocacy for Queensland First Nations businesses by Queensland First Nations business leaders.

The Queensland Indigenous Business Network will begin construction of regional hubs that provide business mentoring, implement a gateway for businesses to be connected to new procurement opportunities, and become a representative voice that supports Queensland Indigenous businesses.

Many Indigenous leaders, entrepreneurs and businesses, including Tagai Management Consultants, were proud to attend the launch event of the Queensland Indigenous Business Network and, congratulate the QIBN Interim Board.
